1810w on 8.10.185.0 fail to support local rlan's

after configureing ap's source port for trunking

sw mo tr

sw tr na vl 1162

sw tr all vl 1162 2299

the 1810w shuts off.

and since I'm on a wlan provided by that AP..  I have to go to another part of the building to reattach.  bummer.

are they not supposed to replicate the input segment (sw mo acc) to lan1,lan2,lan3 if set to 'none' and enabled?

I have 130 fully functioning OEAP's and a few 'w's with rlans that are hosted on the wlc (5520) but can get no rlans that exist on the remote interface switch to work.

I took the target 1810w back to office and plugged it into my 3650 trunked, no issue.

maybe because at the client site switch it was configured in typical sw acc vl 2299 with all the usual sw po and bpduguard enabled whereas my office sw has no sw po and bpduguard disabled.

kinda difficult to preconfig an ap on office sw where target vlans don't exist.

Any idea?

What is your objective, to have wired clients on the 1815W LAN ports in VLAN 2299? And 1162 is the AP management VLAN?

You said there's no issue with the 3650 in your office. What model of switch is at the remote site that's not working? Can you share the full configuration of the switch port in the office and the port at the remote site? Are there any logs in the switch at the remote site (show logging) that show when you attempt to make the config change?

Also what model WLC are you using and what code version is it on?

Yes, so object is to put the 2266 on LAN1 with the AP doing businesson 1162.

Yes. Security established a restricted MFP network for printers (no dhcp) which dropped the AP and attache printer.
when I reconfiured the port, and killed the ap, I lost my access to tweak.

WLC 5508 8.5.182.7

client switch 2960xr stack of 4
switch buffer only 6k so 7/25 logs erased.
syslogs for the target sw just report my port going up/down. and spanntree trap change for vlan 2299
otherwise uneventfull.
next time I will take an extra AP I will jack into an idle workstation port.

mission accomplished.  FLEXCONNECT!  vlan support, check; set native vlan ID; VLAN mappings and set ap spicific..

both nodes alive and well.

and I had a second AP up providing me link
