1832 ME issue- stuck

Dear Experts,

I am new to Mobility express and Cisco Wlan in general. I have no idea, so any directions will be loads of help.

I got this 1832 and i ran show version, it was showing 8.2.111. and prompt was simply like below

I type ap-type mobility-express tftp://xxxx and uploaded the AireOS image ap1g4-k9w8-tar.153-3.JPL.tar.

After that it booted and now its showing this

I don't know how far you gotten with your configuration, but you also need to make sure the switchport is configured properly.  Here is a link to a section of the ME guide that walks through that piece.  You just don't get an ip and http/https to it until you are past that step.

You've provided limited info but it looks to me like you loaded the CAPWAP image on the AP - so you converted it from ME to CAPWAP.

Refer to the doc @Scott Fella linked to and read the Conversion section and follow the process to convert from CAPWAP to ME.

You must use a ME image for that. https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286288035/type/286289839/release/8.10.162.0 

Use the tar file for the conversion.  And note that the tar is only for conversion.

In future if you want to upgrade use the ap1g4 AP image from the ME .zip file which you should have unzipped on your TFTP server.
