2500 WLAN Controller Series Compatibile with LAP1131AG?

I have a customer whom has six LAP1131AG-K9 but no controller and they are interested in one of the new 2500 series, specifically a AIR-CT2504-5-K9 with a 5 AP add-on license to bring total AP capacity to 10.  I can't determine clearly if this controller will work for these older AP's prior to them making the jump to 802.11n via the 3500 or 3600 series, looking to the community to confirm...

2500 will support the 1130.  But the 2500 will also "support" the 3500 and the 3600, however, I'm not going to recommend it.

The reason is because the 2500 doesn't have enough "umph" for a medium to large deployment of 3500 or 3600.

I'd get the 2500 if it was a very small deployment, 5 would be enough, or a lab.  If you want production deployment beyond 10, then consider the 5508.

No problem.

Another thing, go through the Release Notes first before deciding.  One of the things Cisco have added in the Release Notes documentation which I appreciate is the "start" and "end" of the software support of a particular WAP.

This will tell you which WAP is still being supported and which WLC will fit.
