3802 Mobility Express not discovering 3802 AP

Hello 

i bought 14 APs model is 3802 , 2 of them is mobility express but when i started the mobility express it is not discovering the other APs

Hello,

 According to Cisco docs, this model does not appear as possible subordinate Access Point. Only as Master.

I see two option. Install those 14 APs as standalone mode or buy a small WLC and convert those AP to CAPWAP. WLC 2504 is a very good option.

Have You checked the os version of the APs ? It should be the same with the master AP.
All master AP can be Subordinate AP.

1 year has passed. Is the model 3800 not yet supported as a subordinate?
Is there any solution other than how to install a controller for these access points, for seamless communication?

Every Master APs can be used as a subbordinate.
Just convert the AP image to the latest (8.4 or 8.5 as of now)

Skip 8.4 right away and go directly to 8.5. 8.4 will not be further developed.
