I got a pair of 5520's running 8.5.161.0 code with 3802i deployed. I'm not a fan of gold star code that is not a maintenance deployment -- feel like I rarely see those these days. If you are running 8.10.151, are you having any issues?
Curious what everyone else is running?

I am running 8.5.140.0 for a long time with a mix of 3602/3702/3802. No major issues so far. We got pair of 8540 & 5520 on tha code. May go to 8.5.171.0 within 3-6 months (unless next maintenance release come for that 8.5 code within that time frame)

I just discovered we were majorly impacted by this bug CSCvq55777 on the 8.5.161.0 code causing a ton of roaming issues and disconnections. Because of this issue and it not being completely resolved until 8.8 or 8.10, we were forced into going into 8.10 to support the new Catalyst 9000s.

I have three pairs of 5520s running 8.5.140. Same with my 3 5508s still anchoring the DMZ. We have around 1200 APs (3702, 3802 and a few 3602s still running) around the system. Everything is stable (knock on wood) - no need to poke the bear!

Seems like the 8.5.140 is a decent release. Is anyone else using it with DNA Center? I guess I'm in a pickle because I've been deploying the 9000 series since last year and unless I have the 9800's ready, I need to vet 8.10 first before I deploy those. I've just been fortunate not to have any old unsupported models. I knocked on wood for you Wes haha.

If you already got 9800, my advice is to go with 17.3.3 (as of today or any latest 17.3.x) rather than planning those 9100 with AireOS 8.10.x for the long run.
Do not have a setup where you have AireOS 8.10 and 9800 both manage certain APs and you require the client to roam between those two setups, technically those supported, but there are no testing done for this inter-operability as AireOS is not developing further. You will see feature gaps and all-new features mostly come to IOS-XE (9800) and not to AireOS.

Running 8.10.151.0, so far no issues, but also only about 1/10th of the normal users on-site. A mix of 2800, 2700, 3700.
