5520 WLC- GUI issues in Google Chrome

GUI of the AirOS operating system(5520 WLC) in google chrome is not displaying the pages.

For example, when clicking WLAN, the SSID page will not load immediately. you need to click repeatedly or reload the pages many times to get the GUI working as expected.

Does anyone observe the problem?

This is a known issue with AireOS based WLC's. I can recommend u to try Internet Explorer which works for me most of the times.

You don't mention what version of code you're running (reminder everybody - ALWAYS state what version of code you're using) but the other possible cause is if you're using secure redirect on a release which doesn't have the fix for https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvf74866 (8.8 and later releases).

A workaround for that is to use http only for the GUI (disable https).

But if you're hitting the Chrome bug then just try the other browsers to find which one works best for you.

Same issue here on 8.10.182.0. Long known issue, it's even worse if you're trying to access the page through VPN.

Nope, a lovely typo from me I'm on 8.10.162.0, sorry for the confusion.

I've found Firefox works a lot better than anything Chrome based.
