Hello all,
I currently have a Wireless LAN implemented in one of my buildings using Cisco 350 Client adapters and AP's. I have a user that is about three blocks away from the nearest AP and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I can make/buy an antenna that will reach my nearest AP. I do not have the option of buying another Wireless Bridge or AP. Its just this one user thats killing me. He has a laptop with a 350 Client adapter and can't hit our AP three blocks away because hes exceeded distance.
Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

What is the power setting on the nearest AP/Bridge ? You could change the setting to increase the range of the signal (obviously have other side effects - such as signal might reach unintended recipients outside the building)

I want to see if there is a way to get this to work without modifying my AP's.

You can use PCMCIA board AIR-LMC352 with to MMCX on it and use a short cable with two connectors MMCX and RP-TNC (AIR-420-1625-0500 ,AIR-ACC1625) or longer cable.
And connect it to a directional antenna 13.5dbi that will be very easy to install

Israel,
Thanks for the response. I will try to get this together and see if it works.
