9800 vWLC licensing and smartnet

Hi,

If I am deploying  9800 vWLC with HA (N+1), do I need to add 2 vWLC when requesting RFP and SWSS smartnet for both controllers?

Please clarify.

Yes, you have to. Even when the WLC's deployed in SSO you need to order 2Qty of SWSS smartnet
