9800 WLC and 2500 WLC Mobility tunnel

Can we establish mobility tunnel between new 9800 series and 2500/5500 series WLC?

Yes, you can. You need to have a special 8.5.x code version on your 5508. Refer to the below document (2504 has been listed as unsupported).

Many thanks for your response. regardless of 2504 support status. can we establish mobility tunnel to 2504 WLC (Anchor WLC) to 9800 foreign WLC? if not supported

You mean device end of support? or its not supported to establish mobility tunnel with 9800 wlc

Not possible in 2504, but you can run in 3504,5508,5520, when it comes to 5508 please make sure that you run a IRCM capable image.

In 3504 & 5508 if you are running AireOS 8.8.111.0 and later it should support IRCM by default. Below is the detailed guide
