What is the difference between Software Matrix and Solution Matrix?

Also, if you follow the screenshot above, cannot i use the 5508 8.3 version with ACS4.2 , ISE 2.6 ???

I moved your post to Wireless Security and Network Management, because the doc is created by our wireless teams.

The two particular tables seem no longer being updated, as the converged access solution/software is not available in later IOS-XE releases. I would suggest you to start looking into Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers.

The matrix shows the supported configurations. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not working, but it might be untested and you might not get support.
Also the Matrix gets less often updated than there are software releases. It's always a little lagging behind.
