Hi,
I am trying to implement AVC/QoS for MS-Teams. This is in a lab environment at present prior to being deployed on customer environment.
The lab WLC is a vWLC running version 8.10.196 and the AP is a 2802.
The AP is operating in FlexConnect Mode with a locally switched WLAN.
I have a FlexConnect AVC profile configured which contains the following markings:
The profile is mapped to the QoS within the WLAN:
The AP is also a member of a FlexConnect Group where the AVC profile is also mapped:
The switch port to which the AP is conencted, is configuted as a .1q trunk and set to trust DSCP:
interface FastEthernet0/6
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,942
switchport mode trunk
mls qos trust dscp
spanning-tree portfast
end
Checking the interface, I also see DSCP 34/46 incoming:
LABSW01#show mls qos interface fastEthernet 0/6 statistics
FastEthernet0/6 (All statistics are in packets)
dscp: incoming

However, when i check the AVC monitoring for a connected client (Within Flexconnect>Groups>Client>Application Statistics the DSCP values for in/out are 0/0:
Therefore, is there something wrong with my configuration/setup as I assumed that I would see the DSCP in/out values as they arrive from the AP and then as they are then re-marked using the AVC profile.
Would some please assist as i'm unsure as to whether the QoS is actually working or not.
Thanks
Scott

I can't see anything specifically covering that in the documentation so I suspect it's just a limitation of flexconnect local switching.

Must be then. Thank you for taking the time to research and reply.

As per Cisco doc:
"AVC on locally switched WLANs is supported on Second-Generation APs."
I believe you need to use at least 3X00 AP. (3600, 3800)
