Hello,

I have WLC 5508 with 8.5.161.0 version and two types of accesspoints (AIR-AP1832I-I-K9 , AIR-CAP1602I-E-K9)

I have noticed that 1832 AP is showing the interfaces of 802.11a/n/ac is down and regulatory domain is not supported

but 1600 is supoorted

kindly advise

Can't see anything wrong here. Just to confirm, you now have two regulatory domains (countries) active?

yes

EG,FR

@Leo Laohoo Do you know if the two enabled countries could have an impact that the client doesn't select any of the MCS rates? Otherwise I can't see an error that might stop MCS from working.

@Mahmoud Could you create a new SSID without any encryption and check if the data rate is also low and without any MCS speeds?

Two different Regulatory Domain will impact the rates and the channels.

so do you have any recommendations ?

do you think if I use one regulatory domain that support the AIR-AP1832I-I-K9 to get the most from the AP I will have a huge impact to the other AP type?

I honestly don't know, I never worked with multiple regulatory domains.
My gut tells me that it should work. I suggest you open a TAC at this point.
