Whats the default AP license capacity for AIR-CT3504-K9 - Controller? Do i need to upgrade my controller with LIC-CT3504-UPG before adding LIC-CT3504-1A licenses.

As per i know - 3504 WLC supports up to 150 access points (it come with 1 or 5 AP License free rRTU i guess.

When you buy AP License it will be added

you can add  LIC-CT3504-1A. LIC-CT3504-UPG is just top level ordering code. there is trial licenses also free licenses with some bundle offers.
