Hi Sandeep,
So, what do you want me to do?
to change the timezone on WLC? i cant do that because will impact to network.
and with AP, that i know we cant change that, or do you have any idea to change the timezone on AP?
Thanks,
Arik

This shows that the AP has not been reset:
%DHCP-6-ADDRESS_ASSIGN: Interface FastEthernet0 assigned DHCP address x.x.x.x, mask 255.255.255.0, hostname TEST
You should see the default hostname of the AP which is AP
Thanks,
Scott

Dear Team,
My AP has associate with the wlc, all i do is reset and reset AP to factory default, and then i assign static ip address and now the AP has discover from wlc and then i change the static to dhcp and everything going normally.
this step has been done before but failed.
Thanks for support!!

ā03-06-2014 07:11 PM
this step has been done before but failed.
You mean this AP has joined a WLC before? If so, then how come the AP is booting up the "RCV" file now?
ā03-06-2014 07:18 PM
Dear Leo,
I mean, i had reset the AP and assign static ip address before but still AP still cant associate to wlc.
and dont know why, this step is work now.
Thanks,

yes Leo.
ā02-21-2014 12:19 AM
HI Arika,
First of all paste the output of these commands:
From WLC: sh sysinfo
From AP: sh version
*Mar 1 00:05:18.191: %CAPWAP-5-DHCP_RENEW: Could not discover WLC using DHCP IP. Renewing DHCP IP.
Not in Bound state.
as per this error AP not able to find WLC. makse sure that atleast one method is avilable for AP to findout the AP, either broadcats or DHCP 43 option.
Regards

ā02-27-2014 09:53 PM
So are you saying it works when you put a static address but not when you have the ap setup for dhcp?
ā03-04-2014 09:57 AM
Try with the static IP as of the WLC management interface.
From this line:-
"
*Mar 1 00:05:18.191: %CAPWAP-5-DHCP_RENEW: Could not discover WLC using DHCP IP. Renewing DHCP IP.
Not in Bound state.
"
it seems AP is not able to join WLC with the IP address it gets assigned from the DHCP.
