Anyone have an idea why wireless connectivity through an AirFortress appliance would only work when the WLAN is configured for HREAP with local switching?
Here's our setup:
AP-----L2SWITCH(WiSM)-----AirFortress-----L2SWITCH-----NAC_CAS-----L3SWITCH(SVI)
If I uncheck Local switching on the WLAN and set the AP to local mode, the client associates but will not pull an IP address or authenticate to the AirFortress.

I am very curious to your configuration. I have a
WLC 4402, Lwapp 1242, and a FCX 250 I am trying to get to a
uthenticate. You were
successful with authenticating to Air Fortress using H-reap?
My setup is AF to WLC to AP.
I think the issue your seeing is the traffic is being tunneled back to the controller and then the packets are stripped and put in ehternet frames and that confuses the AF. With H-reap the AP is switching to the wire without tunneling back to the WLC.
