I hope someone can tell me what I need to do to provision my 1852i. My goal is to set this device up as the Primary AP on my network and my problem started when I couldn't access the Mobility express web console. I tried resetting the access point, but that made the problem worse. Now, when I complete the Cisco Wizard Configuration Tool using the CLI the Aironet reboots and the LED is flashing RED. The documentation indicates that this means that the AP primed to wrong regulatory domain, but my model # is AIR-AP1852I-B-K9 and the country is set to "US". I don't know what to do because the Cisco AirProvision is not available on the iPhone App Store.
I read another post that mentioned the problem could be caused by an incorrect system time. The system time on my Aironet IS NOT correct, but I could not find a way to set it manually. The (Cisco Controller) config>time manual command only seems to enable you to set a date:
(Cisco Controller) config>time manual ?
<MM/DD/YY> MM/DD/YY - Date portion
I tried the instructions for Resetting or Unpriming the AP in the Cisco Aironet Universal AP Priming and Cisco AirProvision User Guide (2015), but the commands do not exist in privileged exec mode on the 1852i.
I executed this command to make sure that the access point type was set to Mobility Express:
AP0038.DF1A.39A0#ap-type mobility-express tftp
Image upgrade not needed, changing AP Type to Mobility Express
I thought about updating the IOS image, but in this state, I can't ping the device or connect to it via SSH.
