We have a wireless setup consisting of 4 AP1200s. Two on the first floor and two on the second floor. The first floor seems fine clients can connect to the network and are assigned an Ip address. On the Second floor we can connect to the AP but are not given an IP Address. The IPs on the APs are static.
We are using an WEP key for auth.
System Software Version: 12.2(13)JA4
Bootloader Version: 12.2(8)JA
Any ideas?

Not clear about the topology: "We are using an WEP key for auth."
WEP is an encryption, not an authentication. You can configure static WEP or dynamic WEP on the AP as encryption.
You can configure open, shared, or network-eap authentication on APs.
Can you try to configure static IP address on the wireless client please?

Hi,
Are you running different VLANs on both floors?
If you are, and your DHCP server is on a different VLAN, have you got an ip-helper addresses pointing to your DHCP server configured on your second floor VLANs layer3 interface?

Hi,
It seems to me like you are running multiple VLANS. If so is that case, then you need to make sure the WLAN is being passed on the second floor.
In this typical case, you usually have a management VLAN and a WLAN. The WLAN has to be passed through ever Layer 2 Switch in a particular building where the AP are going through different stacks. That could be your problem.
