The AP is running CAPWAP image.
Are you planning to use the AP as a WLC?

We are trying to associate this AP with wlc.

Anjana

Post the complete output for the following commands:

  1. WLC:  sh sysinfo
  2. WLC:  sh time
  3. AP:  sh version
  4. AP:  sh ip interface brief
  5. AP:  sh capwap client rcb

The main problem is the above given message keeps on loading. we are not getting the log in prompt.

Regards,

Anjana.

I cannot fix the "main problem" if I do not see the complete output I have requested.

the main problem is the usb serial converter.

Once after changing the laptop we are getting login prompt.

That's what I was going to say - some USB-serial cables (and depends on driver too) don't work well with some APs so when you have that problem change to a different brand of cable, update driver or like you did another PC.

And use DHCP with option 43 so that you don't need to console into your AP to get it configured!  You'll save yourself a lot of time, effort and hassle.
