Hi folks,
Looking at putting wireless into a large open plan building (appxox. 80M x 40M) with two floors. We'll have up to 450 clients (combination of desktop and mobile devices) spread over both floors so need about 24 APs. With 12 evenly distributed APs on each floor, would this be okay from a channel overlap and wireless interference perspective? Does the Cisco wifi solution including WiSMs and WLC automatically manage this or would there be any manual configuration of APs be required? Thanks.

That should work yes, for the channel planning. RRM on the Cisco WLC will take care of the channel and power assignments so as not to overlap.
That being said, you should get a Site Survey w/Spectrum Analysation done.
