AP1200 - Network Connectivity

I'm having trouble connecting to one of our APs (out of 11 newly installed). I can Ping it, but can't connect via browser, Telnet, or Hyperterm. I don't know anything about these guys (yet) and don't want to wait for a response from the guy who installed them.

Is this something that I just need to recycle the power (do I simply unplug it or is there a switch? How do I backup the current config?) or do I need to console in and do some tweaking? I don't really know where to start and so far haven't been able to locate anything helpful in the Cisco Docs.

Thanks!

your best bet is to console into it to check

It is possible to configure the AP so that you can not access it via the web or telnet interfaces

if you let me know which AP you have and what version of firmware it has I can send you the link to the documentation

Thanks for your help.

The device is Aironet 1200.

Current Version of System Firmware: 12.00

Current Version of Web Pages: 12.00

Current Version of Internal Radio Firmware: 5.02.03

This info was culled from one of the other APs on the system. All were installed as part of the same project, so I expect that they are identically configured. I can connect to all the others, but not to this one.

Ok your running VxWorks

here is the docco on how to connect to each of the managment interfaces

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/wireless/airo1200/accsspts/ap120scg/bkscgch2.htm
