AP1700 does not join WLC2504

Hello,

I just upgrade a WLC2504 with 3 AP (AIR-LAP1042N-E-K9) to 7.6.130 Release. Everything worked fine.

Now I'm trying to add a new AP (AIR-CAP1702I-E-K9) to my WLC. Access-Point and WLC Mgmt IP are in the same VLAN/subnet. I also configured Option 43 in my DHCP Server.

AP is getting the WLC IP via DHCP but is unable to join it.

I can see in the debug that WLC is answering the CAPWAP request and AP is receiving this message, but after that AP debug says "Could not discover any MWAR".

I already modified the time settings in the WLC, and the "show time" gives me the expected output with actual Date/Time and Timezone.

I attached the debug files for WLC and AP, maybe someone can help.

Go HERE.  For 1700 the controller must be running firmware version 8.0.100.X.

Hi Leo,

Thank you for the information, I upgraded to 8.0.120 and I worked perfectly. I already installed AP 2700 with 6.7.130 and didn't read the Compatibility Matrix correctly.
