Could you please confirm is it related to software bug problem or device hardware issue?

Thanks

- CAPWAP AP must be configured by WLC you cannot configure it manually by CLI

- I already explained why the AP can't join the WLC but feel free to get your own packet captures to see whether it's the same problem I expect it is.

- Rather than wasting time trying to make a faulty AP work, replace it.

Nowhere in the output shows the AP "knows" the WLC details.

What happens if someone enters the following command in:  capwap ap primary-base <WLC NAME> <WLC IP ADDRESS>

Dear Mr. Leo thank you, below is given output after entered the command,

Yes, we have about 130 APs of different regulatory domains. This AP was working for long time. About five to seven APs of same model are working currently in our network. Do you think is it related to regulatory domain problem?

Post the complete output to the AP command: sh version

Yes, All are in PAK.

Let me rephrase my question:  Are all the APs with various Regulatory Domains all installed in Pakistan?

Yes, actually we have many refurbish APs of different models and that belong to different regulatory domain.

I am not helping anyone break any laws, no matter how trivial or insignificant they are.

You, sir, are on your own.

Thank you for your reply. We purchased these 1852 APs brand new about 5 to 6 years ago and regulatory domain was unfortunately not considered as important as you mentioned may be due to some reasons. I was not part of buying process. In future we will make sure to buy the device with the correct regulatory domain. Anyways thank you very much for your support.
