Catalyst WLC 9800 : Hide/remove SSIDs from specifics APs

Is there a way to hide or remove ssids from a specific group of APs and how can it be done in 9800 WLC ?

Use AP Filters.

As Leo says create a new tag policy with the required WLANs and then use AP filters to apply that new policy to those APs:

go to AP edit and under policy select the one that point to SSID you want

This is not a best practice to hide SSIDs as some devices may have issues when trying to connect or roam. This is ain't a security method as an attacker would know about your SSID with a simple packet capture.
