Hi,
We have 8xAIR-AP1832I-E-K9 and 5xAIR-CAP2602I-E-K9. At the moment they are connected to 3502 WLC in our other branch office. We will soon move our branch office setup to Meraki. i have two questions
1. Will Cisco 3502WLC will work with Meraki setup. connecting it to Meraki switch and route through MX equipment?
2. If we dismantle WLC3502 and make 1xAIR-AP1832I-E-K9 WLC and connect all other AIR-AP1832I-E-K9 and AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9 to this WLC AP1832I? Will AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9 join 1832I WLC? If not can i make two WLCs 1xAP1832I and all AIR-AP1832I-E-K9 joins to this model and another WLC AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9 and join all 2602 to it. Is WLC IOS is supported in 2602 series.
btw i am new to wireless
Thanks

. Note that 3502 WLC can not work together with Meraki
- On item 2. Note that you can only have one mobility express based controller on the network based on 1xAIR-AP1832I-E-K9 , the AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9 models can connect to it but only if the mobility express controller runs no later than 8.5.x software, check : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

Actually you can have 2 ME WLC operating as HA pair though not what you were talking about as Marce says:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/mob_exp/85/user_guide/b_ME_User_Guide_85/appendix.html#concept_5207A1BAEE0B4D5489C032DF2A7D3377
https://www.wiresandwi.fi/blog/cisco-mobility-express-ha-controller-configuration
And although Meraki WiFi cannot inter-operate with the Cisco classic WiFi APs you could still plug your WLC into the Meraki switches and/or MX for networking/routing purposes just like with any other vendor's switches or routers. Of course you should not try to use the Meraki and Cisco APs in the same office though.
By the way I don't believe WLC 3502 exists? Maybe you mean 3504?

@Rich R @marce1000 Thank you for your response. I will further update once the solution is implemented maybe end of feb.
@Rich R yes, it is 3504, Yeah i won't be using Meraki and cisco AP in same office. Thanks
