Just got the 891W and 3 of the airs. Have the basic wired portion of the router done, internet connectivity, basic firewall, have not configured the built in wireless yet. I added the onboard PoE kit for the 3 air's, plugged the first one in to port 3 on the 891w, it gets an IP from the 891, can be ping'd both ways. Cannot see it from my iphone, this is pretty much going to be an open network for customers 90% of the time. I know an SSID has to be set somewhere and all I have been able to find configureationwise is using a purpose designed wireless controller. Some guidance here would be appreciated. Thanks

You can use alomos any of the other AP's configuration guide since the AP is autonomous. Here are some guides:

Hello Richard,
As per your query i can suggest you the following steps-
Cisco 890 Series Integrated Services Routers offer:
• High performance for secure broadband and Metro Ethernet access with concurrent services for enterprise small branch offices
• Business continuity and WAN diversity with redundant WAN links: Fast Ethernet (FE), V.92, ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI), Gigabit Ethernet (GE), ADSL2+/VDSL (Annex A/B/M), Multimode G.SHDSL, and Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP)
• Integrated secure 802.11a/g/n access point (optional) based on the draft 802.11n standard; dual-band radios for mobility and support for autonomous or Cisco Unified WLAN architectures
