Has anyone experienced a higher than expected failure rate for these AP's?  Power is failing .. both PoE and external.

I don’t use these in production but curios if the AP’s are mounted in ideal locations away from heavy dust or temp changes. I don’t recall folks mentioning that they have 1830’s failing a lot, more of just configuration questions.

These are all mounted in schools. Mostly classroom ceilings. Temperatures good, below 75.
Air conditioning and heat filtered.

Well then, I would t expect these aps or any to be honest to have high failure rate.
