Ho Folks. I'm doing a degree work and I have some gear here to make some tests, but failing...
I bought a Cisco AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 on ebay and using evaluation version of vWLC. I have already tried two various versions of vWLC: Air CTVM-7-3-101-0 and CTVM-K9-8-0-152-0.
They have same problem. The wWLC actually can see the LAP, but it tells Status "Not Joined".
It sees its IP address (but not MAC). The can ping each other. The vWLC evaluation is activated.
So see the same thing:
So tired, i tried so many offers.
This some version screenshots:
Some screens from the vWLC:
I don't know if this is enough, The time i set everywhere.
Also, I said, the vWLC can see the LAP:
Could you help me with that? Thank yo.

No worries patoberli, thank you for help.
I'm wondering if the issue is related to another issue I'm having right now. When I'm trying to access the Home router page, I get Windows Internet Information Services Page:
I have disabled IIS feature, but still redirected to this page.

That is weird. This looks like a firewall is blocking.

Thank you for the help guys. I gave ip. I think the problem is with the certificate itself. There is an option on the WLC GUI to download a certificate, but I don't know what is this certificate and where to download it.
Also, I'm downloading a newer evaluation version from Cisco now.
P.S: another release didn't work too. Maybe the LAP is not properly functioning. I don't think the firewall was the issue, because I turned it off. Also, the WLC and the LAP could see each other. Or I just misconfigured the LAP (wrong IP addresses). On the VMware Workstation I use two Bridged adapters (they are bridged to the WiFi card, but i tried to bridge to the ethernet NIC too when laptop was wired to the router). The AP is wired to the router. The console cable is wired to the LAP from the Laptop (USB). On the LAP i pointed all DHCP settings to the home router - 192.168.0.1. A management interface to to 192.168.0.55. The NTP is taken from the home router too. Maybe the service interface should be different than 10.10.10.1? I don't have this network anyway.

That's a good idea, just found this freely available version:
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/282439881/type/280775090/release/15.2.4-JB6
Do you know where I can see instruction how to to this. As I understand I need to put it into TFTP server.
i don't see any commands related to tftp.

You first need to enter de debug cli:
AP#debug capwap console cli
Then:
1. connect AP and laptop in same network
2. Start TFTp server on laptop
3. run this command on AP:
AP#copy tftp: flash:
Source filename [image name]? flash:image name/image name
