One more question, looking at the mobility express deployment guide, there is no menton of IDS/IPS support?

Hi,
What do you want to detect with IPS? On-the-wire attacks, over-the-air attacks, non 802.11 attacks? Here's a document to give you more insight on what you would need to use, based on what you want to achieve:

Hi Cristian,
Thanks for the reply, the requirement is in regards to over-air-attacks.
However my question is in regards to using the 1832i Access Points without a WLC, so is this possible?

Hi,
Never looked at IPS support for in a mobility express deployment, but per the following document, it seems to support both IDS and wIPS.
