Cisco AP MAP Requirements

We are looking to deploy 9124 connected to a 9800 Cloud controller in a mesh configuration.

Can someone explain the process to get the MAP connected to the RAP.

We have the RAP setup and all the mac addresses AAA is setup on the wlc.

Do the MAP's need to be connected to the WLC before they can join the RAP.

Was hoping that we could connect the RAP and the MAP's would just discovery the RAP and come online, because the mac addresses are on the wlc.

If that is the case I need to setup a staging area for over 100 ap's that will need connecting to wlc.

Can someone point me if the right directions.

And yes, the MAP will connect through the RAP and get to the WLC.
