Cisco C9800-L WLC is not being synchronised with NTP

Hello,

Cisco C9800-L WLC is not being synchronized with NTP server. What could be the issue?

Which interface are you using for NTP communications? Have you checked there is no firewall or that traffic is allowed in the firewall policies?

Could you share your NTP config please?

Hi Pavon,

There is no Firewall. Other devices are being synchronized successfully. I have attached screenshot of my GUI of 9800-L.

I have only added NTP server in 'Time' tab. Is there any other configuration needed?

 

 

Remove it and add it again... look at the vrf as it depends on how you have your management configured. Either way, add it again and or try an external NTP for testing.

This works fine for me:
ntp source GigabitEthernet0
ntp server vrf Mgmt-intf <server-ip>

Verify it in CLI

 

9800#show run | in ntp

9800#show ntp association

9800#show ntp status
