Cisco Mobility Express - disable WLANs on individual APs via CLI?

Hi,

I'm replacing an existing network of autonomous APs with Cisco Mobility Express (v 8.7) using 2802i APs.  We use a total of 3 BSSIDs on this network.  For business reasons, we want certain APs to only include a single WLAN BSSID.

Via the Mobility Express command line, is i possible to to disable BSSIDs on specific APs that were initially createed from the ME Controller AP without having to create additional VLANs / subnets on my network?

Thanks!

The feature you are looking for is AP Groups. This allows you to create two or more groups in which you decide what SSID’s you want and then put the AP’s in the AP Group. This was supported in v8.7 on the GUI.

I agree with Scott.
Use AP Groups.
