Cisco WLC 9800 SSO / CDP Information

Hello fellows!

In an SSO  configuration (RP), is it normal to not see cdp info about the standby controller at the core switch in which both controllers are connected?

yes, i guess since they use the same name. (never tried but will do some testing next week)

Thanks for your helpful reply.

Let me ask you one last thing, if one link goes down (active wlc), switchover will be triggered automatically?

At the moment only the active chassis seems to send CDP.

Note there was an enhancement in 17.9 for LLDP to be active on *both* chassis:
