Hi Guys,
At the moment we are in the process of deploying city wide free public wireless. I'm trying to think ahead of the design of the network. We want to deploy the same SSID but I'm not sure if we should use one vlan for the end users which would be a /16 mask or use multiple vlans with the same SSID.
What is the industry standard with such a deployment? If some can help out I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Ross.

Careful. There have been some local government that have been taken to court by business because the public wifi took business away.

Hello Ross,
I would like to suggest you to go to this link for you query

But be careful as there is some local government law which you have to follow.
