Hi The below screen shot is from Configuration ---> Interface ---> Wireless at C9800 wlc. The question is why there is nothing under Configured Trustpoint sometimes, and sometimes it has something over there? Thank  you

 - FYI : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/config-guide/trustpoints/b-configuring-trustpoints-on-cisco-catalyst-9800-series-controllers/c-workflow-to-configure-a-trustpoint-for-a-third-party-certificate-on-catalyst-9800.html

Review this document and or several cli-show (example) commands, may reveal the 'true status' if the Trustpoint configuration.

Thats the certificate used for wireless management, this certificate is required for AP to join to the WLC and for 9800 physical boxes certificate comes preinstalled for 9800 cloud you need to generate the certificate.

To your original question: it's probably a cosmetic bug in the GUI.  You neglected to mention what version of code this was on - always quote what hardware and software you're using.

As @marce1000 suggested - if in doubt use the CLI - the results are generally more reliable then the GUI which uses restconf or netconf (I forget which right now) to read and set the data from the WLC (sometimes has bugs) and uses a lot of script and code to format and display the data on the GUI (many bugs in that).

Thank you for your reply. Its c9800-L-F with ver 17.5.1
