2112 controller has fixed IPs for management and ap-manager interfaces.

controller is not a dhcp client, but controller syslog shows the following message about 4 times / sec :

Mar 10 12:07:04 wlan-controller-1 wireless1: *DHCP Server: Mar 10 12:07:02.528: %DHCP-6-SCOPE_NOT_FOUND: dhcpd.c:173 Dropping packet from xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (unable to match to a dhcp scope)

Any idea ?

Have you configured WLC management IP address as DHCP server for any of the dynamic interfaces configured on WLC ?

Also what vlan this client belongs to ?

No I do not.

management and ap-manager interfaces belong to vlan 106.

dynamic interfaces belong to other vlan (2,14,175,161).

DHCP server is a linux centos vlan 1

Thanks,

Rosa

Rosa,

The DHCP proxy is enabled in the dynamic interfaces with the DHCP Server IP address configured?

These dynamic interfaces can reach the DHCP server ? Have some ACL that impossibilite to the dynamic interfaces to reach the DHCP Server ?

The DHCP server has the correct scope for the network address for VLANs (2,14,175,161) ?

Case the DHCP proxy is not enabled, did you verify the SVI that is the gateway of the VLAN is with ip helper address configured to the DHCP Server?

I hope it helps.

Dhcp proxy is not enabled (option 82 -> AP-MAC, timeout -> 120s)

Yes They can reach, clients receive IP address.

No there are no ACLs defined on controllers (all are defined on ASA -> nothing is dropped)

DHCP has the correct scope.

I did no understand what you mean by ... SVI that is the gateway ....
