Hi.
I've heard that if someone takes the current CCIE Wireless written exam prior to the February deadline, they earn credit or recognition for the 300-401 ENCOR. Thus counting towards CCNP and CCIE certifications.
I have search Cisco website and I haven't been able to find anything that would confirm this. The best information that I've found is the following:
- CCNP Wireless Migration Tool (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/professional/ccnp-wireless-migration-tool.html)
- CCIE Enterprise Wireless Certification Program (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/certifications/expert/ccie-enterprise-wireless.html#~stickynav=3) which states "If you pass the current CCIE Wireless written exam before February 24, you’ll be eligible to take the new CCIE Enterprise Wireless v1.0 lab exam after February 24."
Can anyone confirm if the current CCIE Wireless written exam gives direct credit or recognition for 300-401 ENCOR, which would count as the core exam for a CCNP? Any Cisco references would be highly useful.
Thanks.
