Re: DOT1x restarted due to EAPOL-START/CLIENT ROAM

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with only a few laptops that are trying to connect to our wireless but when they do, they either can't connect or they do but get a Microsoft private network address (169.x.x.x) Each one seems to get this error:

*Dot1x_NW_MsgTask_7: Sep 15 11:33:29.470: %DOT1X-3-ABORT_AUTH: [PA]1x_bauth_sm.c:487 Authentication Aborted for client 44:85:00:97:ea:d7 Abort Reason:DOT1X RESTARTED DUE TO EAPOL-START/CLIENT ROAM

The WLC is a 5508 at version 8.5.140.0.

There are times they do connect but have no internet as well. And this will be across all my SSIDs.

Also seems to be older laptops and with Intel Dual-Band 8260 wifi cards.

Any help would be great!
