When we tried to install the Aironet Software of the PCMCIA Aironet 350 from Win-Client-802.11a-b-Ins-Wizard-v13.exe on the Windows 2000/XP Workstation appears this error mesaje:
IWSetup "Administrator privileges are required...", but we loggin with administrator user.
Why happened this?
Thanks

This is a known issue, I think its been fixed in the subsequent release.

Me too got the same error message on 2 different machines running German Winxp SP1. Either with
"Win-Client-802.11a-b-Ins-Wizard-v13.exe" or the older "Win-Client-802.11a-b-Ins-Wizard-v12.exe"
found CSCed14388 and the "http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Ddisplay_location%26location%3D.eead981" conversation later.
Is there a reason not to state it in the Release Notes/open Caveats? Would have saved me a lot of time and trouble.
Anybody knows if or when a fix wold be available?
