How can I upgrade IOS on the LWAP 1142?

Hello!

How can I upgrade an IOS image on my LWAP 1142? I have also WLC 2125

What upgrade do you want?? On the AP or On the WLC?? if its on the AP, from what to wat you wanna upgrade?/ is it from LWAPP to IOS or from IOS to LWAPP??

Hi Surendra BG,

may be I`m not sure about lwap technology...I want upgrade both images on the lwap`s and on the wlc..Now I have this version of image on my lwap:

Cisco IOS Software, C1140 Software (C1140-K9W8-M), Version 12.4(18a)JA2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

but I find some bugs on this version and want upgrade to new ios release

Upgrade the firmware of the WLC.  The WLC will then upgrade the firmware of the LWAPP.

The IOS of the LWAPP is dictated by the firmware of the WLC.

Hi,

The time you upgrade the WLC software, the AP will download the latest LWAPP code as well!!
