How can make second dhcp pool work for wireless user

Hi WLC management interface ip address is 10.0.10.12/24 and dhcp server ip is 10.0.10.10/24 located at vlan10 in a switch. The dhcp scope is 10.0.10.0/24. The user can get ip address 10.0.10.21/24. but if the dhcp scape is changed to 10.0.10.128/25, the user cannot get ip address.

I want the user to get ip address at 10.0.10.128/25. so I might need to separate the /24 into two /25 subnets and create the second wlan for the second /25 subnet. My question is, can I do it without separating the /24 and adding the second wlan? Thank you

what is the goal of changing?

You need to change all setting if you like to change the mask from /24 to /25 and you need to create a Layer 3 interface for the same.

2 Options :

1. you need to create a new Pool and VLAN SVI adding to the VLAN Group.

2. if you want to allocate IP address above 10.0.10.128 onwards, then only put the pool same, rest remove.

Do you mean its like this below? it cannot work without other config change

ip dhcp pool xyz

network 10.0.10.128 255.255.255.128

default-router 10.0.10.1

dns-server 8.8.8.8

We might need to add second group users. One is for 10.0.10.0/25 and second for 10.0.10.128/25

network 10.0.10.0/24  and you remove DHCP reservation from 0-128 IP address, Looks like you looking a different way.

you need to change the VLAN settings from, /24 to /25 - so you need to 2 different: VLAN SVI and 2 DHCP scopes with the different default routers. - is workable solution for you
