How do I configure a 2801 ISR to support a 1010 LWAP. The 2801 does not have a wireless controller module. Is this possible without one?
Thanks

Hi Joe,
The 1010 is made specifically to work with a WLC and can't be converted to Autonomous. Check out the excerpt's from the following docs:
Cisco Aironet 1000 Series IEEE 802.11a/b/g Lightweight Access Point Model 1010
Delivers 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN access with zero-touch configuration and management. The Cisco Aironet 1010 is available only as a lightweight access point and does not support autonomous operation. Unlike the Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series, the Cisco Aironet 1010 requires additional mounting bezels for office deployments and does not provide the same level of security and tamper resistance that is provided by the 1130AG Series. The Cisco Aironet 1010 is limited to lightweight operation.

Cisco® Aironet 1000 Series lightweight access points are specifically designed for operation with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and the Wireless Control System management tool. They provide dual band support for both 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g, simultaneous air monitoring for dynamic, real time RF management. In addition, Cisco Aironet 1000 Series Lightweight Access Points handle time-sensitive functions, such as Layer 2 encryption, that enable Cisco wireless LANs to securely support voice, video, and data applications

Hope this helps! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
