After Upgrading my AP to c1100-k9w7-mx.123-2.JA' with the command 'ARCHIVE tar /xtract tftp://192.168.1.11/c1100-k9w7-tar.123-2.JA.tar flash:' I'm not able to access the html GUI although it is updated...

Any Suggestions?

FWIW, I had the same problem this morning.

After adding a USERNAME account thru the CLI

and rebooting to upgrade to the 802.11g card,

the GUI began working. I'm not sure if the

USERNAME or just the reboot fixed it??

I suggest you to re-install 12.3(2)JA again by using "archive download-sw /overwrite /reload ftp://192.168.1.11/c1100-k9w7-tar.123-2.JA.tar.

I assume that you have enough room in the flash. Otherwise, you have to do a show flash: and delete all unncessary files.

I was reading the release notes for 12.3(2)JA and it says that this release supports SSL (https://)

Is this enabled by default?

Does this mean that to access the gui you need to enter

https://10.0.0.1 instead of

http://10.0.0.1,.

If this were the case the GUI would seem to stop working, but thats only if it is enabled by default

just my 2 cents

https has to be manually enabled (not the default).

Try turning off your pop-up blockers on your browser.

Good Luck
