I want to know how to connect New Wifi System WLC9800+AP9105 + Old-AP1

We introduced a new wireless system as the number of users increased.
The wireless system is WLC9800+AP9105. It is AP9115.

And currently WCL5520 + AP1832I, OS version 8.5.161.0 is configured and used.

We are looking for the best way to use the currently used AP1832I in a newly built wireless system.

The WLC IP will use the Old-WLC IP as it is.

What OS version can I use both New-AP9115 and Old-AP1832 at the same time?

Is there any OS version that can automatically join Old-AP1832 to WLC9800?

what is stopping you here? the information provided above is not sufficient  - have you got a chance to read it? or what are you expecting community?

You need to create a test bed with new Cat 9800 WLC with HA and test with 1 or 2 APs and see all working as expected before you Cut over to new WLC 9800 rest of the AP.

HA config as below :

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/213915-configure-catalyst-9800-wireless-control.html

Note:  I would suggest until all Migrate to the new WLC, use the different IP address for the new WLC Cat 9800 and leave WLC as it is so you  can roll back any issues and once all is done you can remove the old WLC

Until you have any complex situation to use the same IP.

what is the version of code Cat 9800 running :

check the below matrix and compatibility with Cat 9800 :

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html

The WLC IP will use the Old-WLC IP as it is.  <<< --- you want to move your OLD WLC to new WLC Cat 9800 same IP address?

Hi,

We set the same IP on the new equipment(New WLC),
Existing equipment(OLD-WLC) is being removed.

Ok then check the matrix and download the firmware and install on the AP and reboot the AP to join WLC (cat 9800) - make sure to check the compatibility matrix

WLC join can be a different method, Option 43 is the best option or manually configure to join WLC (once the firmware in place)

still have issue AP join WLC (capture all the console logs and post here)

Make sure you provide enough information Cat 9800 Version code ? AP version code ?

Old equipment, WCL5520 + AP1832I, OS version 8.5.161.0.

The OS for C9800, which is a new device, has not yet been determined.

The goal structure is as follows.

I was just wondering what version of the os could do the minimal work.
Thank you for your help.

What do you mean ? The 9800 is  a dedicated appliance (virtual or not)  ; using it's own software,

See link below for TAC recommended IOS - I'd say your best option now is 17.9.2.
