IBSS network, Maximum Receive and Transmit rate are not equal.

I create an Ad-Hoc network with Cisco CB21AG and 350 Lan adapter(both use latest driver).Ad-Hoc of b/g client and b client, as I know, both stations will communicate with b only speed. But on CB21AG client, Network Speed in Wireless Network Connection Status shows 54Mbps. Connection Status under Cisco Aironet Utility. Current Receive Rate 11Mbps, Current Transmit Rate 18Mbps. Why CB21AG client show the speed more than 11Mbps? After connected, Client 350 sent beacons and it's supported rates changed to 1(B),2(B),5.5(B),6,9,11(B),12,18,24,36. As I know, client 350 is a 802.11b device. It doesn't support OFDM rates.

I am so confused.

Anyone can explain this?

Thanks.

The maximum transmit and receive are due to QOS configurations. The number of queues per range of supported PCR values varies between the Digital Signal Level 3 (DS-3) and the Optical Carrier Level 3 (OC-3) ATM modules.
