IP addressing for guest users when redundant Anchors terminate in different Layer 3 locations

Hi All,

Does anyone have a solution as to how to setup a WiFi guest network where there are multiple Guest Anchors in different layer 3 networks and clients are able to failover without IP addressing issues.  Do clients automatically get assigned a new IP address from the DHCP server or do you need to have the same IP subnet at each site?  We have a solution where the Guest anchors at multiple sites connect to a local firewall and the guests only have internet access therefore there is no routing of the guest network subnet.  From a network perspective having the same subnet isn't an issue as it's not advertised and clients connect directly from the Anchor external interface to the Firewall and onto the internet through a NAT, using the same subnet at each site with different DHCP ranges should work.

Does anyone know of another solution?

Thanks in advance.
