Hello Community,

Is it possible to configure Cisco CW9166 Access point device as a client? Does this operating mode supported ?

I would like to use two CW9166 devices, one acting as an AP and other as a client.

Thanks

         - What do you mean by 'client mode' ?

M.

-- Each morning when I wake up and look into the mirror I always say ' Why am I so brilliant ? '
When the mirror will then always repond to me with ' The only thing that exceeds your brilliance is your beauty! '

The mode in which CW9166 device shall connect to SSID broadcasted by another CW9166 device (AP mode).

Please find attached.

             - It can't do that , what do you want to achieve ?

What you are describing is a feature called Workgroup Bridge (WGB).
According to https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/feature-matrix/ap-feature-matrix.html#_Toc118737962 9166 should support WGB.
Refer to the config guide:
