Is it possible to use a 5508 WLC as anchor controller, if internal WLCs are 4402's?

I want to use a 5508 as an anchor controller for a wireless guest deployment....but the client has internal 4402's controllers, with software version 7.0.235.0...is it possible tu mix these two controllers for a Wireless Guest Access Deployment??

Yes it is .. Foreign controllers will originate the tunnel and the 5508 will terminate the anchor. Both anchor models will work in either role.

Issue is the 4400 is limited to 7.0 code.

You can also mix code revs on either box. Check out this link
