Hi C9800 wlc is installed in esxi vm. I got the below info. But do not know why interface is down. ESXi configuration is not issue because other ios client using it can work well. The first one is configuration on default interface, and second is show ip interface bri. Thank you

here are my installation steps : ( but i used direct interface)

Do you need to have the interface part of VLAN 1?

Hi, looks like during installation you didn't attach any network interface to this VM as this should be visible as the interface GigabitEthernetX then you are assigning the physical up/up interface to vlan1 and then vlan1 should be also in up/up state.

but i do not know why physical interface cannot be attached. other vm can attach several interfaces.
