Hello community,
I have a problem with 2 APs C9120AXI, it turns out that after loading the firmware 17.12.03 to pass it to EWC-AP the ap not load correctly the Firmware to such point that the ap did not recognize the proper ip address to make a PING itself, seeing that we were not given or we worked several functions, we decided to give the factory reset from CLI and when the ap finished restarting, it stays on the screen of the Cisco U-Boot and does not go beyond there, I share the information of the CLI where the AP remains.
After waiting for a long time, the AP managed to radiate the configuration SSID, configured by that SSID and managed to get access to the AP again, but the connection by Console/serial does not show information or allow interaccion with the Ap through this connection, by SSH if you let it set up and manage.
Do you know any way to repair/configure the serial connection of this model of AP?
Serial connection configuration and status where the connection stops receiving AP information.
Screen the version of the AP by accessing it via SSH.
Thank you for your knowledge.

- Can you input anything else at a later time ? If not or not applicable then test the terminal equipment on another device to make sure that ESC works,

Thank you for the reply marce1000.
Note that the ap does not show from the serial connection any information after the shared image of the U-Boot, so this process does not allow me to run.

- Do you mean that the serial connection to the AP does not work , or and can you try the procedure from
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9120axi-access-point/217537-repairing-c9120-c9115-access-points-from.html#anc9
anyway (and the steps before to get the particular image) ?

Hi, I mean that the serial connection does not work, the serial connection only shows the first screen I shared before, after the ap is energized on the screen immediately shows the banner "Cisco U-Boot" and then it could take from 5 to 20 minutes until the Ap starts broadcasting the CiscoAirProvision SSID.

- Did you try the full procedure , such as when the AP boots start pressing the ESC key ?

Hello.
I tried the whole procedure where from the moment the AP starts up, it is given energy oprimo the ESC key and the AP does not recognize or respond to the process.

1. Take note https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-12/release-notes/rn-17-12-9800.html#behavior-changes
"From this release, the default console baud rate of the 802.11AX APs is changed from 9600 bps to 115200 bps."
So if you do a factory reset after installing 17.12.x or later then console baud rate is changed to 115200 - try that.
2. Cisco APs are very "fussy" about console cables. Have you tried a different console cable which you know works with other Cisco APs?
