Dear all,
Just to verify using ones experience on the field, please take a look at the following scenario:
I have a rather old installation with 5 single-mode 1242G access points.
I would like to provide additional access using three 1131 LAPs, an 2112 WAP (single-controller deployment) and converting 1242s to lightweight.
The questions are:
1. Has anyone faced issues mixing up 1242 & 1131 using the same WLC?
2. Would it be a problem to add dual-band 1131AG LAPs or it would be safer to go with single-band ones?
Thank you all for your answers

Hi,
There is no problem in mixing 1131 and 1242 APs.. make sure the WLC supports enough number of APs.. In short.. No problem at all..
lemme know if this answered your question..
